The 10 Days Story (Part 7)

2011 was the beginning of the 10 Days movement as we know it today -- city-wide prayer, worship, and repentance during the 10 Days of Awe.  However, this new expression was built firmly on the more "hidden" experiences of the past seven years in small groups, retreats, and in smaller city-wide settings.

After sensing God's calling and confirmation in the midst of answered prayers and strange weather phenomena, the 10 Days Boston team begins to pray into how God would have them call their city to extraordinary prayer, fasting, and repentance with John 17 unity as a primary goal.  God leads them into new patterns and strategies, resulting in a significant move of God in the city of Boston.  Jonathan and Gregg discuss notable experiences, both good and bad, from the first 10 Days in Boston.

10 Days is a tangible step of obedience toward the answer to Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21: “Let them be one as we are one.” This is about seeing Jesus receive the answer to His dying wish, for the John 17 unity of His followers. “Jesus gets what He prays for!”

Every year in cities around the world, believers come together in a citywide prayer meeting for 10 days in September. We take a break from what’s normal on earth so we can enter into what’s normal in heaven.

We hope you'll join us in the Global Upper Room this September.
